Dementia: A Pastoral Response

An opportunity to learn about the types of dementia, to explore a parish pastoral response, to become familiarized with resources, and to share experiences. 29th Annual Cathedral Organ Benefit Recital

Saint John’s Seminary Main Chapel

Join us in welcoming our friends from the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, temporarily unable to use their venue while the Cathedral undergoes interior restoration, for their annual Organ Benefit recital. Enjoy the music of Bach, Sowerby, Franck, Handel, and Whitlock performed on our own recently restored Hook & Hastings Organ. Featuring Mark Dwyer, organist and choirmaster at The Church of the Advent. All proceeds benefit the Hook & Hastings organ at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

This concert is co-sponsored by Saint John’s Seminary, the Boston Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

 

2018 All Souls Memorial Concert & Auction

The Theological Institute of Saint John’s Seminary will present the annual All Souls Memorial Concert, dedicated to our deceased loved ones, and Silent Auction. Featuring friends of the Institute and hosted by Most Rev. John A. Dooher, Auxiliary Bishop of Boston. All proceeds will benefit the Theological Institute Endowment Fund.

Can’t make it to the concert? The auction will stay open through Thursday, December 6th at 7:30 p.m! You will be able to bid live at the Pastoral Center (66 Brooks Drive, Braintree) or online (coming soon). 

Schedule for December 6: 
7:15 p.m.- Dinner ($20)
7:30 p.m. – Silent Auction closes
7:45 p.m.- Live Auction Bidding Begins!

You need not be present at the concert or the live closing to win.
