Bio
Fr. Casey holds a Ph.D. in United States religious history from Boston College where he focused his dissertation on the development of Jesuit education in the 20th century. He is the director of the newly established Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College, a new initiative at BC that seeks to promote the Society of Jesus’ history, spirituality, pedagogy, and leadership within Jesuit apostolates. He lives in Fenwick Hall, a freshman residence, where he serves as mentor and spiritual director for students, seminarians, women religious, and priests.
