WePrayForYou - Saint John's Seminary

Tell us what you are carrying.
Your intention will placed in our beautiful chapel before
the exposed Blessed Sacrament, where men preparing for the priesthood
kneel in prayer remembering your intention and those of the whole world.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS

Not a list. A slip of paper, your humble intention, reverently placed before the Blessed Sacrament.

Every intention received is printed and placed in our Semianry chapel during Eucharistic Adoration. Seminarians kneel there daily bringing your needs to God in our prayer.

No one will ask you for anything. There is no list to join, no follow-up, no appeal. You may sign your name or remain entirely anonymous. The prayer is the same either way.

“A man in formation gives his life as a prayer, imitating the mystery of the Lord's Holy Sacrifice which he hopes to offer on the altar as a priest.”
+ Bishop Reed, Rector

What shall we pray for?

A name is enough. So is a sentence, or a paragraph.
