The Archdiocese of Boston recently hosted its 17th Annual Celebration of the Priesthood Dinner, an inspiring evening dedicated to honoring the gift of the priesthood and supporting the Clergy Trust, which provides care for priests in retirement and in times of need.
Saint John’s Seminary was proud to be represented at the event by several faculty members, including Rev. Msgr. Stephen Salocks and Rev. Stanislaus Achu, Interim Vice Rector, as well as a number of our seminarians. Their presence highlights the close connection between our mission—forming future priests—and the ongoing ministry of those who have faithfully served for decades.

Events like this serve as a reminder that the priesthood is a lifelong vocation. From the first day of ordination to the later years of ministry, priests dedicate themselves to guiding, teaching, and serving their communities. The Clergy Trust ensures that these men are cared for as they continue to give so much to the Church.
As a seminary, Saint John’s is honored to be part of this journey, preparing the next generation of priests who will follow in the footsteps of those we celebrate. We are grateful to all who support the Clergy Trust and who join us in recognizing the enduring gift of the priesthood.
