On November 19, 2025, Saint John’s Seminary welcomed priest alumni back to campus for a meaningful evening of prayer, community, and connection. The evening brought together priests from many generations, creating a warm atmosphere filled with familiar faces, shared memories, and a shared love for the Church.
The evening began with Vespers prayed alongside the seminary community. Praying together offered a simple yet powerful reminder of the faith that has shaped both our alumni and our seminarians. Afterward, guests enjoyed a reception and dinner where conversations filled the room—stories from parish life, reflections on ministry, and updates from across the many dioceses in which our alumni serve.

One of the most valuable parts of the night was the opportunity for current seminarians to meet and talk with our alumni. These conversations help bridge the gap between formation and priestly ministry, giving seminarians a chance to hear real experiences, practical advice, and honest insights from those already serving in ministry. For many, it was a chance to see how the lessons learned at Saint John’s translate into daily pastoral work.

The priesthood is rooted in service, prayer, and community. This event highlighted those values clearly. It reminded everyone—priests and seminarians alike—of the ongoing support and fraternity that strengthens priestly life.
We are grateful to all our alumni who joined us for the evening. Their presence and witness continue to inspire the next generation preparing for ministry at Saint John’s Seminary.
