Saint John's Offers Scholarship for Summer Courses

St. John the Baptist Summer 2022 Scholarship

We are pleased to offer a one-time, 50% scholarship for the first five qualified students who apply who meet the following criteria:

• They enroll for credit in one of the two electives offered Summer 2022
• They are first time enrollees; this is the first course they have taken at Saint John’s Seminary
• They have received a prior undergraduate degree
• Applications must be received by May 31, 2022

The Lay Formation Program of Saint John’s Seminary is about growing in holiness by learning more about our faith through intellectual engagement, belonging to a vibrant Catholic community, deepening our relationship with God, and nourishing our prayer life.

Lay Formation at Saint John’s is an academic and pastoral formation program for Catholic men and women, deacons, and professed religious who are interested in taking the ‘next step’ on their Christian journey of ministry. Those who apply to the Lay Program seek an opportunity to deepen their union with Christ and develop their ability to participate in the Church’s mission of evangelization as missionary disciples. Our two degree programs are faithful to the Catholic intellectual tradition, are carefully crafted to provide an integrated and thorough study of Catholic theology, and allow for specialization in one of two themes: acquiring skills to minister within the Church, or honing one’s skills to participate fully in the New Evangelization of the world.
